Rosignano Solvay – Yacht Club Cala de Medici An Italian Championship to be forget for Pulverit

Italian UFO 22 Championship ended last October 5th in Rosignano Solvay sea.

An Italian Championship to be forget for Team Pulverit – ALCEA Sailing Team, helmsman Davide Casadio, crew Jacopo Alessandri and Edoardo Vassura: the strong libeccio up to 30 knts with up to three mt waves has bunkered the whole fleet, stopping the first of three expected race sequences, and heavily conditioning also the followings, with long waves and crossed sea. Heavy conditions for Pulverit young crew, suffering seasickness, which ended in the last positions but participated all the scheduled races: good temper and sail passion valid for the future.

Final result see TAU Metalli - Gaff Sailing Team, Silvio Benedetti skipper, first, followed by Ciuffetto (Cavalli) and Whitings (Zorzan).
Next meeting for UFO 22 fleet and Pulverit - ALCEA Sailing Team October 19th in Torri del Benaco’s less troubled but windy waters , Garda Lake.
