Engineer Giovanni Parodi founded ALCEA (Azienda Lombarda Colori e Affini) in the Bovisa district of Milan
1941
Engineer Mario Parodi joins the company and takes over its management in 1952
1979
ALCEA begins its strategic acquisition program integrating SAVIA in the wood sector, RIVALIN in the decorative sector, TOVAGLIERI in the industrial construction and naval sectors, MARTINO in the construction sector
1980
SMALTOSISTEM® Industrial Tinting System Launch
1986
Engineer Carlo Parodi joins ALCEA’s board of directors and later becomes CEO
1993
ALCEA obtains the UNI – EN – ISO 9001 Quality Certification from EQNET

Launch of KALEYDO®, an innovative color recognition system

Founding of ALCEA Coatings Canada (ACA), with Pietro Parodi appointed as a board member

Acquisition of D&D Vernici SRL in San Lazzaro di Savena (BO), marking the first step in a project to expand supply coverage and optimize local customer service
