ALCEA has always pursued an integrated Quality, Environment and Safety policy that has become a continuous commitment to the search for increasingly higher quality standards, for protection and respect of the environment and for the health and safety of workers.
Commitment to Quality
Development of the ALCEA «Quality management system» is supported by precise annual goals that help to address the increasingly difficult competitive challenges that the market must respond to by refining products with higher quality standards, in observance of legislation and environmental and safety needs. ALCEA pursues a quality policy by enhancing and encouraging its own resources to achieve ambitious targets. In 1993 ALCEA obtained quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001.
Our commitment to the environment
Always committed to promoting the development of a sustainable sector that respects the environment, setting itself to be a reference of excellence in its own market, in 2006 it obtained environmental management system certification UNI EN ISO 14001. Over the years, the Group has undertaken improvement programmes with measurable targets, initiatives and projects aimed at carefully analysing raw materials used in the making of its paints and at researching technologies and paint cycles that can reduce environmental impact, without affecting quality performance.
The commitment to Health and Safety
Obtaining BS OHSAS 18001 certification in 2010 was an important moment in a virtuous path that the owners wanted to follow and is testimony to the company’s ethics aimed at respecting and protecting workers’ health and safety, which is acknowledged to be a primary asset for the company. ALCEA is continuing this commitment with its policy for the observation of legislation and current regulations, best practice and safety rules, specific company standards and initiatives to increase awareness about adopting risk prevention measures.
